The crash, which involved three vehicles, happened on Saturday morning, July 20 in the area of 30 Secor Road in Mahopac.
Members of the Mahopac Falls Fire Department, including EMS and Fire Police, responded along with multiple units from the Carmel Police Department, Putnam County Sheriff's Office and EMStar paramedics, said Jack Casey of the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department.
After the road was initially shut down, Fire Police soon had a lane open for alternating traffic as tow trucks arrived at the scene. The roadway then reopened a short time later.
